- API Keys: API keys for OpenAI, Claude, or OpenRouter provided by you to access their respective services. These are encrypted using AES-256 encryption.

- Chat History: The records of your conversations with the LLMs. This includes the text of your prompts and the LLM's responses. Your chat history will be retained unless manually deleted by the user. You can delete your entire chat history at any time. This information is stored to provide you with a history of your conversations, allow you to revisit past interactions, and for debugging and improving our service.
- Email Preferences: Your preferences for receiving email communications from us (e.g., marketing emails).
- Support Requests: Information you provide when submitting a support request (e.g., description of the issue, contact information).
- Chat Information: Data related to your chat sessions, including timestamps and identifiers for each conversation.
- Error and Performance Data: We use Sentry.io for error tracking and performance monitoring. This includes technical information about errors that occur while using our service, session replay data for debugging purposes, and performance metrics. This data helps us identify and fix issues, improve application stability, and optimize performance.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain your account and our services, including storing and displaying your conversation history.
- To improve our services and user experience.
- For marketing purposes related to Heida (you may opt-out of marketing communications).

Data Retention
We retain your data as follows:
- Account Information: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your account information will be deleted within 30 days of approval.
- API Keys: We retain your encrypted API keys for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, these keys are permanently deleted.
- Chat History: Chat history is retained unless manually deleted by the user. All users can delete their entire chat history at any time.
- Support Requests: We retain support request information for 90 days to help us improve our support services and for historical records.
- Usage Data: We retain anonymized usage data for as long as necessary for analytical purposes.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete your account and all associated data. Account deletion will be completed within 30 days of approval.
- Delete all of your chat history and all uploaded files.
- Request information about what data we hold about you.
- Update or modify your account information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via email and/or through a prominent notice on our website.
